The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)

AASHE, is a membership-based association of colleges and universities working to advance sustainability in higher education in the US and Canada. On their website you'll find many resources to assist your campus sustainability efforts, including a sustainability policy bank, a campus sustainability professionals page, interest groups, publications, classroom resources, and useful links for virtually every aspect of campus operations. Cornell is a member of AASHE, and all members of the Cornell community can register for access to the AASHE resources.

APPA

APPA (formerly the Association of Physical Plant Administrators) is an association serving educational facilities professionals. An international association dedicated to maintaining, protecting, and promoting the quality of educational facilities, with the understanding that facilities have a direct impact on the experiences of students, faculty, and staff. In addition, APPA serves the entire education community by conducting research, providing educational programs, producing publications, developing guidelines, and serving as a central information source on educational facilities issues. Society for College and University Planning (SCUP)

The Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), established in 1965, is a collegial community dedicated to sharing, learning, and teaching best practices in planning for colleges and universities. SCUP takes a holistic view of planning; as its name implies, it embraces the full spectrum of planning functions at a postsecondary institution, including, but not limited to: academic, campus or master facilities, budgeting and financial resources, infrastructure, and strategic.

Campus Consortium for Environmental Excellence (C2E2)

Both the Cornell Environmental Compliance Office and the Cornell Office of Environmental Health and Safety are members of C2E2. The mission of the C2E2 is to support the continued improvement of environmental performance in higher education through environmental professional networking, information exchange, the development of professional resources and tools, and the advancement of innovative regulatory models. Environmental performance includes campus regulatory compliance, environmental management, and sustainability initiatives.
