

Comprised of members of Cornell University Finance and Administration (CUFA) and interested faculty members, the Green Building Oversight Committee is responsible for developing and monitoring
compliance with Cornell's green building standards.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Green Building Oversight Committee is to champion the following Green Building efforts:
- Define Cornell University's green building goals and standards
- Promote these goals and standards though University policy, updated design protocol, location of project funding, education of facilities professionals and consultants, and similar means.
- Promote architect/engineer selection processes that encourage the selection of design professionals with positive green building experience and ideas
- Develop a series of metrics to monitor performance and report results to appropriate University leaders and stakeholders.
Recent Activities Include
- drafting and implementing the CGBG
- green design charettes on major construction projects
