6th Cornell Solar Farm Breaks Ground 

Construction is officially underway on the 18-megawatt Cascadilla Community Solar Farm at Cornell. The project will double campus renewable energy.

Cornell University celebrates all things sustainability during the entire month of April, with 60+ events in film, fashion, art, wellness, social justice, climate change leadership, and sustainability topics.


** Cornell Dining saves 700lbs of plastic in waste pilot **
Amit Bhatia Libe Café, Mattin’s, and Green Dragon eliminated 66,000 plastic bags by changing the way baked goods are sold.


** Human Ecology creativity diverts tons of office waste *

Martha Van Rensselaer Hall renovations left staff with tons of office supplies slated for the landfill.  A unique event helped items find a new home.
