Welcome to your brand new Sustainable Campus newsletter.

Find the tools to help you live, learn, and lead for sustainability on campus and in your daily life. Resources inside for staff, students, faculty, and the rest of the Cornell community. 

The new Sustainable Campus Connections has four main sections:

  • Lead and Learn: We believe everyone has a role to play in creating a low carbon, sustainable future and campus. Big ideas start with you.  Accelerate your leadership and by taking advantage of these learning, leadership, and career opportunities.
  • Live Sustainably: Resources to help you lead a just, healthy, happy and environmentally conscious life on campus, at home, and in the office.
  • News & Events: Stay connected with the latest on how we are creating a sustainable, carbon-neutral campus, and plug in to events on sustainability topics across campus.

Introduction to the Science of Climate Change
Peter Hess, Biological and Environmental Engineering

This Cornell University-wide seminar series provides important views on the critical issue of climate change, drawing from many perspectives and disciplines. Experts from both Cornell University and other universities will present an overview of the science of climate change and climate change models, the implications for agriculture, ecosystems, and food systems, and provide important economic, ethical, and policy insights on the issue. The seminar is organized and sponsored by the Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering, the Cornell Institute for Climate Smart Solutions, and the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future.
