2019 Sustainability Award winner with presenters

Seven individuals and one residential community on campus were recognized in this year's round of sustainability staff, faculty, and group awards for the Cornell Ithaca campus.  Among the recipients are individuals who have championed environmental justice, sustainability engagement program building, and innovative approaches to changing the way business-as-usual operates in growth chambers on campus.

Registration is open for the annual Sustainability Leadership Summit - don't delay!

The Campus Sustainability Office is hosting Cornell's first Green Team Summit, open to all current Green Team members and all students, faculty, and staff interested in getting more involved in sustainability efforts on campus. Registration is FREE, and includes breakfast and a mid-morning snack.

The Sustainable Cornell Council (SCC) will direct and coordinate Cornell’s role as an international leader in addressing climate change and promoting sustainability by using the campus as a living laboratory and seeking regional and global partnerships to accelerate impact. The SCC will report to the provost and will provide progress updates to the Cornell community.
