Urban Green, a non-profit dedicated to preparing the world for sustainable buildings, is offering free and discounted training opportunities on the updates to New York State Energy Code and
GPRO, a comprehensive national training and certificate program teaching the principles of sustainability and trade-specific green construction knowledge to people who build, renovate and maintain buildings.

The trainings focuses on understanding and complying with Energy Conservation Codes in New York State, and New York City, and GPRO is designed for the experienced building professional who seeks to integrate green practices into his/her core knowledge of their trade. 

With new updates going into effect May 2020, the energy code will become one of the strictest in the nation.
