Dump & Run
Cornell's Dump & Run program collects items from students leaving campus in May, and resells them to students moving in each August. In addition to diverting tons of reusable items from the waste stream, the annual Dump & Run sale raises more than $60,000 a year for local charitable organizations.
Cornell is taking steps to ensure a safe reuse sale during COVID-19. This year's Dump & Run sale will take place on the weekends of:

- Clothing & shoes
- Furniture & organizational units
- Working appliances & electronics
- Household items (dishes, clothing hangers, cleaning products, etc.)
- Decorations & toys
- Sporting goods
- New toiletries
- Non-perishable food
Dump & Run cannot accept donations of inkjet printers, mattresses, underwear, trash, anything broken, or opened food packaging.
