Rice Hall is currently seeking LEED Gold through its renovations. During the course of its renovation, salvageable materials that cannot be reused in the building itself will be reused elsewhere on campus or sent to a local architectural salvage company.

Project Highlights
When possible, the existing wooden doors and trim are being removed, refinished, and reinstalled to reduce natural resource usage and preserve the historical integrity of the building.
Salvageable materials that cannot be reused during the building renovation will be either saved for reuse elsewhere on campus or sent to a local architectural salvage company.
